Hamlet's Handmade Knives Welcome to my web site.

I started making knives part-time in 1988 and became a full-time knifemaker in 2006. I grind my knives by hand from 440C, ATS-34, and D-2 bar stock and Damascus made by "Alabama Damascus Steel". I primarily make functional knives such as hunters, lockback folders, filets, and kitchen knives. My wife makes the sheaths and they are custom fit to each knife and water proofed using an oil and wax process. My mark is Hamlet's Handmades in script. This is a pattern I got from the guy that taught me to make knives Al Foster. The "Hunter" has a 4" blade made from 3/16" 440c stock and has Black/Red Micarta handle with black/white spacers. It sells for $190.00
